Cork is really easy to get to. There is a regular train service from Cork City, so for those that can take the train to Cork it is very easy to continue onto Cobh.

The animals here have plenty of room to wander about, what better way to spend a hungover afternoon than playing "spot the penguin (insert favourite exotic animal)".

The Cobh Regatta is held the second weekend of August every year and is great craic. Held over 3 days and always ends with fireworks - there is music in the pubs and boats on the dock....
