Limerick you're a Lady, goes the song. With a song like that you couldn't go far wrong for a fantastic henparty in this great city.      

Limerick has changed so much in the last 5-10 years and is very willing to surprise anyone prepared to make the trip. There is a great night life and it is so central to many places in Ireland as the gateway to the West - Galway and Kerry.
      
The Shannon could be a good place to start or finish a Limerick trip.The best places to go are quite clustered together and everything is within walking distance. Limerick is also serviced by train, plane and bus.
      
   

Limerick has a multitude of activities to chose from. Starting with Lough Derg and the pretty town of Killaloe on its shore and its numerous watersports centres or go karting in Abbeyfeale.
      
There is paintball near the city and don't forget Bunratty Castle - a great spot and you can also stay there. An excellent Hen idea is the Bunratty banquet: something like €30 and you can eat in the castle medievial style and drink mead with all the costumes !  What more could you want from your hen!

For the SATC ladies amongst you, spa and pampering places are widely available in Limerick on top of a fully stocked Brown Thomas.

Limerick is quite simply great for shopping.

The Limerick Greyhound Track have great bars, and last year Limerick race course had races on a friday or saturday which would finish around 8/9 followed by a gig with bands such as Aslan.

Are you feeling spiritual, would you like to get away from the boozing and partying for a few hours - take a spin out to Glenstal Abbey and wander around the beautiful grounds, maybe even have an interesting conversation with some of the Monks.
      
Limerick is the home of Munster Rugby and new Thomond Park. Once the Celtic League kicks off it will be easy to get tickets for those games and they'll have nice bars etc. Picture it ladies........grown men running around in small shorts and then get into their shorts back at Clohessys that night in town!
      
Nightlife in Limerick is varied and plentiful. With the colleges nearby there are a multitude of pubs and clubs to choose from for your hen. Have a drink in one of the pubs along the river and sip cocktails watching the sun go down in lovely Limerick.
