Irish hen Pippa O’Connor and her little chicks Georgia Salpa and Nadia Forde today launched the first ever Cavan International Hen Weekend which is taking place on the 18 – 20^th June 2010.

 

Cavan will play host to the ultimate girl’s weekend away during which the ‘hen’ of each party and her chicks will join in a number of fun festivities, and to be in with the chance of winning a once-in-a-lifetime prize. The winning hen receives a fabulous wedding reception for 150 guests in the beautiful Hotel Kilmore, Cavan, along with an amazing two week honeymoon to New York, Las Vegas and a luxury Caribbean Cruise.  This stunning prize is worth over €20,000.

 

Some of the fun-filled events that will happen during the Cavan International Hen Weekend include an A Magical Mid Summer Night’s Dream Street Pageant, the Mad Hatters Fancy Dress Party, Lovebug Treasure Hunt, Saturday Night Fever and many other mini challenges throughout the three day festival.

 

The International Hen Weekend teams with the Cavan Summer Festival for a fantastic celebration. There will be something for everyone in Cavan from the 18-20^th June 2010.
