Having a Hen Do in Kilkenny or in a location nearby? Looking for something different to entertain you and your friends during your visit?
The Pottery Shed offers a relaxed and informal environment in which to Paint your own Pottery in a central location that is suitable for all ages. With a Café next door, a wide range of food and drink is also available for all guests if required.
Choose from two packages to suit your particular needs, including options such as a Mocktail and Cocktail Reception, A Signature Plate signed by all guests for the Hen and Special Hen Do Breakfast sets. Our in house artist is always on hand to help and advise guests as required
We can cater for parties of up to 25 people of any age, and are more than happy to reserve the whole studio for certain party sizes. Sessions typically last for 1½ hours and we are open 7 days a week. Bring your own wine and we’ll provide the glasses.
Packages include
1. The Hen Do Package
Let your Hen Do guests show off their creative side by getting them to paint a mug their own design. Each guest will then have a unique lifelong memory of this special event, after we have glazed and fired each piece in our kiln, that they have created themselves.
Your Hen group will get a table reserved within the studio for up to 2 hours, or the whole studio for groups of 20 or more. All paints, brushes and utensils will be provided, along with the mugs to paint. Also included within this package is a Mocktail and Cocktail Reception drink for all guests and Balloon table decoration. Lastly, your Hen will receive a Signature Plate, signed by every guest and decorated by our artist, as a keepsake of their special event.
Price = €20 per guest (The Hen paints for free in groups of 20 or more)
2. The Hen Breakfast Package
Give your Hen a reminder every morning of her special weekend, by getting your Hen group to paint a Breakfast Set for her to keep after the Hen Do. The set comprises of a range of pottery including Mugs, Salt and Pepper Pots, Breakfast plates, Teapot and Breakfast bowls.
Your Hen group will get a table reserved within the studio for up to 2 hours, or the whole studio for groups of 20 or more. All paints, brushes and utensils will be provided, along with the Breakfast Set selection. Also included in this package is a Mocktail and Cocktail Reception for each guest and Balloon Table Decoration. Lastly, your Hen will receive A Signature Plate, signed by every guest and decorated by our artist, as a keepsake of their special event.
