A Hen Night in Wexford

Wexford town may not be to the forefront of your mind of locations for a hen party weekend. But if you’re looking for something different and a town that is sure to deliver a barrel of laughs. Then you must check out Wexford town ladies. It’s a hidden gem for a night out.
There are tons of brilliant hen party activities on offer, great restaurants, lively bars and top nightclubs. What more could you ask for? Also, the accommodation is all located in the heart of Wexford town. May I suggest, to really spoil your hens, to stay in the Talbot suites at Stonebridge is a unique and luxurious property. They have 69 luxurious self-catering 2 or 3 bedroom apartments, ideal for your perfect Hen Party getaway!

Luxury Spa Weekend in Cork

I’ll be honest ladies, I’m not even a full week back in work and I’m already dreaming of a Spa weekend. Well, I’m always dreaming of one if only he would take the hints. So, if you fancy spoiling the bride to be and all the hens. Why not head on a luxury spa hen party weekend.
I’ve been to the Spa in the Maryborough hotel in Cork before and all I can say is you’ll be on cloud 9 after a weekend of pampering in this stunning hotel. They have Luxury Hen Party packages available at Maryborough Hotel & Spa which include overnight stays, spa experiences and exquisite Afternoon Tea. Make sure to check them out.

Ireland’s Greatest Pub Tour

From hot stone massages and facials to hot whiskeys and face full of Guinness. A hen party weekend can be anything and everything you want it to be. If you’re looking for something very unique for your Hen Party weekend, then head west and take in the amazing Connemara pub tour ladies. The tour does a loop of Connemara and stops in 4 pubs along the way. All the pubs are unique and brilliant craic. You’ll get to enjoy a drink at the breath-taking scenery.
They’ll also work around your schedule if you’re looking for an early afternoon or evening trip.

And if you fancy venturing further afield. You can even head to the Aran Islands! Now that’s some pub tour. For more details make sure you pop over to their website. But one thing is for sure ladies. You’re in for one hell of hen with this activity.

Carrick On Shannon for an unforgettable weekend!

Carrick on Shannon has a warm place in my heart. It’s has been known for years as being the hen party capital of Ireland. This charming town has incredible activities, scenery, atmosphere and nightlife lending itself to being one of the best nights out in Ireland.
One thing that everyone loves about Carrick is the accommodation is all in walking distance from the action. A place I love to stay is The Bush Hotel which is a very popular hen/stag destination in Carrick-on-Shannon. They do a fantastic Bed & Breakfast and dinner. They also have b&b offers running all the time and have special group discounts with many local fun activities.

Stop Off on Route to your Hen!

If you're travelling to Killarney, Cork or Limerick why not stop off on the way for some naughty cocktails with your Hens? Sheahan's Bar Kildorrery have a great Hen package starting at €12 per person - that gets you a delicious cocktail from their Hen menu and includes a complimentary glass of Prosecco on arrival. Now that’s how you start a Hen Party weekend! It's just over an hour to Killarney, an hour to Limerick and just under an hour to Cork, so the perfect stop-off venue to get those early cocktails in!

Hit the Beach for your Hen!

I’m not sure about you, but any time I can get to the beach I can! I love nothing more than relaxing by the beach with friends and enjoying a few drinks. And If I can do that on a Hen Party weekend, then I’m winning!
My suggestion is to head west and to Bundoran. This town is a hive activity and one of the best nights out you’ll have. Is there any wonder why so many people flock to sea sessions every year. On a hen weekend, I’d suggest checking out the Grand Central Hotel. It’s right in the heart of Bundoran town centre and is only a 2-minute walk from the beach.

It has a fantastic bar and restaurant called the Wild Atlantic Bar and it’s right by the promenade for you to take in the stunning views. Bundoran also has a whole host of great activities on offer for a Hen Party weekend or any type of weekend away you’re planning!

Head along to a Mega Hen Party!

If you’re looking for something very very different for your Hen Party weekend in 2019. They why not venture to the Kippure Estate in March and experience their Mega Hen/Stag Party experience. You’ll get to choose an outdoor activity that’s perfect for your group. Before you’ll join everyone by a roaring bonfire for a few drinks, laughs and to discuss the day's antics.
