Spend an hour on an entertaining, fun experience learning all about Mead.
It starts with a welcoming glass of prosecco topped up with our delicious Wild Red Mead made from Spanish Forest Honey, Turkish Cherry & Wexford Blackcurrant Mead.
Next is an overview of Mead's long and fascinating history. We’ll talk about the bees and then walk through the production area.
You’ll see our honey, get to taste some and see where our Meads are fermented, matured and bottled.
You will be able to taste four meads in our tasting room including some only on offer in the meadery, understanding each Mead’s flavour profiles and how best to serve and pair with different foods.
You will taste a Mead paired with Koko’s of Kinsale hand-made Mead filled Dark chocolate. You will taste how the Mead brings out the fruitiness of the Cocoa Beans.
After the tour you have the option to stay for a while as we serve some Mead drinks, Mead & Tonic, Prosecco etc (at an extra charge)
