Cork Hen Party - Yes or No

4 Nov 2019

Cork is one of the biggest cities in Ireland and its size is matched perfectly by the friendliness of its people. Cork has recently been voted one of the friendliest places in the world and this is proven by how welcome Hen parties and Stag parties feel when they travel to Cork. It’s a very popular Hen and Stag Party location and here’s why…

1. It’s convenient, like!
Travelling around the city and county is super easy with bus routes travelling to all the tourist hotspots and trains travelling to all the towns in and around Cork. With the bus station in the centre of the city and the train station a short walk away, it makes getting around really easy. Not only that but most of the popular hotels are all within a 10-15 minute walk from the city centre. Nobody likes a long walk back to their hotel after a night out and Cork helps you to avoid that.
2. It’s got a lot of activities.
With a city of Cork’s size comes a lot of fun activities which are all perfectly suited to any hen party. Cork plays host to some amazing activities such as:
- The Firefighter Experience
- Pole dancing classes
- Cocktail making classes
- Paint a nude!
- Dolphin tour
- A night at the dog track
- The Comedy Club
- And many more!
These are just a fraction of the fantastic activities that Cork has on hand. Check out our Cork Hen Party Package for a full list!
3. Food and Drinks
All within a short walk from St. Patrick’s Street, Cork has some amazing places to head for some gorgeous food. If Italian cuisine is your preference then head to Luigi Malone’s, or maybe you prefer Chinese food which you’ll find at Tung Sing. Whatever your preference, Cork has a place for you. And after you’ve lined your bellies with some food there are a number of amazing bars and clubs around Cork that will be the perfect place to end the night. Head over to Soho for some cocktails, or head to the Voodoo Rooms and dance the night away. The choice is yours!
The one area Cork falls short in is accommodation prices. Being the biggest city in the South of Ireland draws in a lot of people and so hotels can get pretty expensive depending on the time of year. Our tip to avoid this is to shop around and book your accommodation well in advance of the hen party.
We think all of this makes Cork an amazing place to host any hen party. From delicious food and drinks which Cork delivers amazingly well, to the vast amount of activities available for you and the girls to ensure you have the most fun you can have, and finally to the sheer convenience of travelling around the city. With everything walkable, you’ll save a pretty penny using your legs as your mode of transport.
If you think Cork is the right place for you and your gals to live it up for your hen party then check out our Cork Hen Party Package which is available from €99 per person.
