One of our favourite things about Galway is the number of top-class bars there. Whether you are looking for a quiet one, a wild one or just a yummy cocktail you'll find the perfect place in Galway. Here are a few of our favourite Galway pubs you have to visit on your hen to help your planning along!

This is one of our favourite spots in Galway for a hen party or just a night on the town. Coyotes is an American Themed late bar and club. It's right in the heart of Shop Street as well which makes it an ideal spot and easily accessed from everywhere in the city. If you've seen Coyote Ugly ladies this is the vibes here! It's pretty much exactly the same theme. If you're like us and always wanted to go to that Coyote Ugly bar then this is the place for you. Of course, Coyotes are really hen friendly as well which makes everything run smoothly.

If you are looking for a good cocktail to get the night started you need to visit Buddha Bar Galway! This Galway pub offers €6 cocktails and let's face it who doesn't want yummy cocktails on their hen party! You really cannot go wrong with that. The atmosphere is brilliant here as well and is the perfect place to start off the celebrations! One of the best things about this bar is that it's a little different to all the rest! We love a traditional pub but sometimes you just want something different. This pub could be that something different for you!

Fibber Magees is one of the reliable spots in Galway. You're pretty much always guaranteed a great night here! They constantly have brilliant special offers on their drinks which is always a positive! ;) A few drinks in Fibber Magees is definitely a great way to kick off the hen party, everyone will be in great form, you won't want to leave! On top of all that as well Fibber Magees is smack bang in the middle of Eyre Square, ideal!

Taaffes is one of Galway's best known and oldest bars. Not only is it the go-to spot for tourists it's also one of the best locals in the city. Like so many of the other pubs in Galway, Taaffes have live music sessions running throughout the year. All-Star musicians like Sharon Shannon have played here! Can you think of a better way to get the hen party started then a live music session?
