The stand out festival is the Galway Races of course. What a way to spend a hen party! Dressed to the nines and sipping champagne watching the rich and famous stroll by. Yes please. The International arts festival is another big one and if you miss those there are stacks of other things to float your boat. Talking of boats, a trip on the Lough Corrib is spectacular and a chance to recharge the batteries. If its shopping that rings your bell, you are in the right place to melt your piece of plastic.
