Winter isn’t coming, it’s officially here ladies. The clocks have gone back an hour and there is a noticeable chill in the air. So, we thought to help you warm up we would put together what we think will be Hot Hen Party Destinations in 2019.

Galway

Galway is always a hit with our Hens. It’s hugely popular with hens and tourists for good reason. The bars and nightlife are immense. The shopping is fantastic. There is embracing and unique vibe in the city and there is also a whole host of activities on offer too.

The Asylroom in Galway is always brilliant fun to kick off any hen ladies. This Escape room is an immersive group experience where you’ll be locked into a room and given 60 minutes to solve the mystery to escape and continue your hen party shenanigans. This is a brilliant activity for any type of group.

Cavan

Yes, you read right ladies. Cavan is underrated for a wild night out. There are plenty of great bars, clubs and wild nightlife to satisfy any Hen Party. There are also tons of great places to stay too like the Cavan Crystal Hotel.

Not only will you get to relax and unwind in style and luxury. The Cavan Crystal also has a host of activities available for Hens located in the hotel. Enjoy activities like Cocktail Making Classes, a Dance Class, Afternoon Tea, Treatments in the Beauty rooms and even a Murder Mystery Activity.

Mullingar

Another location going under many people’s radar as a place to have an incredible Hen Party weekend. Not only is it centrally located in the midlands and easy to get to from almost everywhere in the country. It also boasts one hell of a nightlife that is sure to leave everyone on the Hen with a sore head the following day.

One of Mullingar’s and Irelands best-kept secret can be found here too. The Victorian Escapade will take you and your Hens back in time to enjoy all the fun, style, and delights of the lost luxury of times past. Just picture a giant playhouse, with period costumes, furniture and staff where you get to play with all the goodies just as you did in your own dress-up box! The only complaint you’ll have is from the pain in your face from laughing!

Carlingford

Carlingford has been a huge hit with Hen Parties in recent years and that doesn’t look like changing any time soon. Ladies from all over Ireland are flocking to a town with a vibrant social scene and nightlife like no other. During the day, they are spoiled for choice with activities on offer to get them pumped and ready for another night on the town.

Variety is the spice of life they say and that’s what you get when you head to Carlingford Adventure Centre. Groups get to choose from activities like Archery Tag, Zip-Lining, Kayaking and even a Water Trampoline. And, if you want all this on your doorstep for the weekend. You can always avail of the accommodation on offer!

If you’re looking to add a little adventure to your Hen, you know where to go!

Limerick

One of our favourite cities in Ireland for a Hen party weekend. There’s a certain buzz around the city that spills over into the nightlife and you just find yourself partying the night away. All of Limerick’s top bars and clubs are in walking distance of each other and there are so many activities to choose from too.

So, it’s only obvious that you stay close to all the action but do it in style of course. The Absolute Hotel is an award-winning 4-star hotel that we recommend checking out ladies. Not only is it a stunning hotel but included in your stay are breakfast, 3-course meal and late checkout. You might need that after the cosmopolitan drinks reception they include too!

Clonakilty

Next on our lists of Hot Hen Party Destinations in Clonakilty in the beautiful West Cork. Trust us when we say when the sun is shining you’re in for a treat and make sure you enjoy some time down on the gorgeous Inchydoney Beach. Maybe bring a little prosecco to toast the bride to be.

This is the perfect location for a relaxing hen party weekend and also has plenty of late-night venues should you want to take it up a notch. If the relaxing hen party is what you’re after then Handcrafted Hens is all about bringing you a relaxed hen party with a crafty touch. Kilkenny

As always the love for Kilkenny as a hen party destination doesn’t seem to slow down. A fabulous town with great activities and incredible nightlife.

If you’re looking to make the most of the Hen Party weekend, we suggest heading along to Gowran Park and enjoy a day at the races. Get all dolled up ladies. You’ll be collected from Kilkenny city centre. You’ll also have a reserved area, a complimentary drink, race card and admission all included. You’re in for a great day and is sure to lead to an even better night.

Westport

Westport is a charming little town on the stunning West Coast of Ireland. The breathtaking scenery is matched with fantastic nightlife and a whole host of fabulous hen party activities.

If you’re looking for something a little different and unique on your Hen Party weekend, then you can’t go wrong with the Connemara Pub Tour. You can decide between a tour of Connemara or over to the Aran Island and it can be enjoyed all year round from Galway or Westport. You’ll get your own private guide along with vouchers for the pubs of course as you meet the locals, other hens and explore the stunning Connemara before heading back for the night out.

If you do opt for the Aran Islands tour you will either fly or take the boat to the Aran Islands and visit all 3 pubs on Inis Oirr, the smallest but friendliest of the islands. Take in all the sights on the tractor and trailer tour of the island before crossing back to Connemara for a final pub stop on route back to Galway.

Castlecomer

Lastly, on our Hot Hen Party Destinations is Castlecomer ladies! It may not spring to mind at first but this town in north Co. Kilkenny is home to the brilliant Castlecomer Discovery Park.

This is definitely one for any hen looking to add a little adrenaline rush to their weekend. Take a trip down Ireland’s longest zip wire. Try some Axe Throwing or even high wire climbing. Or race downhill with some mountain bikes. All finished off with a bit of bubbly of course. The Castlecomer Discovery Park tailor the day to make sure you leave exhilarated!
