Why Dublin?
Irelands biggest City
Dublin City is to Ireland what London Town is to England. It’s a powerful magnet that draws people to itself with an irresistible force. Why? Well, darling because it has everything and then some more. Trying to go through all the activities could fry your brain and doing a pub crawl could take years.
It’s a mega centre for the rich and beautiful and you are more likely to spot a star in Dublin than any other city or town in Ireland. Always known as the home of Guinness it is so much more than a just large brewery, although a visit to its Hop house is a great experience.
Shopping
Giving your plastic card a work out while in Dublin. Some retail therapy is always called for with all the best shops down O’Connell St, Dame St, and Grafton St. Not forgetting shopping centres like Dundrum where you will literally find every high street shop under the sun. For something more bespoke there are centres like Powerscourt. Or alternative shopping destinations include Georges Street Arcade.
Choice
While the danger of a big city is that it can take too much time to get around with a big group of hens, the beauty of a city hen is the choice. Choice in terms of accommodation. Dublin is so vast compared to other Irish towns for accommodation. You can go seriously high end, or you can go budget with a great hostel.
Likewise for restaurants. Going to Dublin means you can avoid the stereotypical Italian/Irish menu and instead try Ethiopian, Japanese or just the plain wonderful.
Our biggest piece of advice about Dublin is because of its size, plan your day or weekend before you leave home and stick to it. Ask us more about making sure you don't spend all your time in taxi's or trying to get across town for the hen.
