Are you wondering whether to chose a small town or city Hen Party? It can be just as important as picking a venue for a wedding. It can be a hard choice to make. Lucky for you, we think we can help you out. We have the pros and cons you need to help decide if you want a small town or a city hen party. Hopefully, we can give you the advice you need to help make your final choice.

Small Town Hen Party

Pros

Let’s first start with the pros of a small-town Hen. You won’t have to worry about loosing anyone. With a small town it is easy to keep track of where everyone is. This is also a chance to get creative! You can come up with different ideas to do around the town that can be fun and 'out there'. Like maybe the town you are visiting has a chocolate making business - you could see if they do tours. That sort of thing. Lastly, it will make the tone of the night feel more personal! No worries of any big city lights, people, or traffic. It is close to home and gives you a better chance to bond with one another.

Cons

Now what are the cons? Well, there isn’t much to do in a town compared to a city. A town Hen will also need a lot more planning. Plan what to do and different events that will ensure it is a fun night. In a city, things are open later then a town. If you don’t have the proper planning, you might find it isn’t the most fun night out.

City Hen Party

Pros

Leading us onto a city Hen party, which is completely different then your small-town hen. For one, the energy! You are busting with so many different people looking to party like you. This will help set the tone for the night and get everyone in the mood for the craic. There is also a lot more to do! There are endless choices with how you want to spend your night. The good thing is you can easily change plans last minute if needed. Or if you are just walking past a karaoke bar and decide that you want to do it last minute. A city hen will also most likely give you a longer night out.

Cons

Now what doesn’t work for a city hen. The city is filled with different people. You can go into one place and find another hen party there, meaning a chance it takes away from the bride’s night. There is also a chance that things in the city could be booked up. You will have to book ahead to make sure you can make the most of the city night (this is where we come in handy!). Lastly, being in a flashy city might take away from bonding and getting to know the other girls better.

Those are the best and worst reasons for a city or town Hen. Everyone is different and will want different things. There are many different ways and places to spend a Hen party, it just is up to what better suits you and want to want to do. And really at the end of the day, it is all up to what the bride wants to do and what sort of person she is.
