Limerick is such a stunning city right in the heart of Muster. If the group is looking for something a little more upbeat then a town for the hen party you have to consider a city. Limerick is great, you don't have the expense of heading to a bigger city like Dublin but you still get that city vibe you're craving. Limerick city is packed with everything you could need. It has all the high street stores for a spot of shopping if you fancy on your weekend away! Limerick is built on the gorgeous Shannon River and is a University City which gives it so much life!


Activities are the make and break of a hen party, they'll either get everyone ready for the big night or fall a little too flat. Activity wise Limerick really has it all for a hen party! Whether the group are looking for something chilled out like a Spa Day or Afternoon Tea or they want something adrenaline pumping like Karting or Kayaking Limerick caters for it all.


Limerick's nightlife scene is completely unrivalled! From quite locals to bustling late-night bars there is a pub out there to suit every bride to be. Flannery's, Dolan's Pub and Nancy Blake's all top our list. As well as having brilliant bars Limerick has plenty of nightclubs to match. Costello's and Angel Lane are all fab for hen parties! Guaranteed all the girls will love them! We have to mention as well there are plenty chippers open for after the club as well to ease those 3 am cravings.

Home of Rugby

As you may already know Limerick can be considered the home of rugby in Ireland. You know what goes hand in hand with rugby is hunky rugby players! No, we're not creeps we just appreciate a well-built man when we see one...don't lie we know you're the same. Of course, by going to Limerick, especially around the autumn/winter months, you have a great chance to go to a rugby match in Thomond Park. Even if you don't have much interest in the sport the atmosphere in Thomond Park alone will get you all ready for the night ahead!

Hen Friendly

As well as everything we mentioned above ladies Limerick is just so hen friendly. The city is so popular for hens and stags. Most bars and nightclubs are completely welcoming of hens but maybe check them out before just to be sure. You hen party location being hen friendly is absolutely essential!
