The Farmyard

Are you looking for hen party ideas, hen party activities or just a hen party with a difference?

Why not travel to the West of Ireland where Co. Clare will give you the warmest of welcomes, most beautiful scenery and great nightlife.

The Farmyard will provide the ideal location for great craic and fantastic memories. Through completing the "Farmyard Wife Preparation Course", we guarantee that every bride will leave the Farmyard with the skills necessary to become a fully, fledged, highly skilled wife!

Of course this programme can only be successfully completed with the support of an energetic party!

Our range of activities includes:

*Completing the Farmyard challenges such as gathering the sheep, clothes line relay and wellie throwing.
*Milking a cow the old fashioned way and learning how to churn butter by hand.
*Test your agility as you try to catch the Cock under the watchful gaze of the nearby hens.... Need we say any more!
*Discover how well the Hen knows the stag through a Mr and Mrs Farmyard Treasure trail.
*Develop a skill for life by learning the seige of Ennis in it's native county - just in time for the wedding!
*If all else fails learn how to make a loaf of traditional brown bread and feed it to your starving troops.

Upon completion the bride to be will recieve the well coveted Farmyard Certificate. Rumour has it that some priests are requesting a copy of this certificate as a pre-requisite to the wedding registration process!

This action packed Hen party package costs €35 per person and takes approx 3 hrs to complete. The Farmyard can also cater for different lunch options in our beautiful tea rooms.

If you also like some ideas for Hen Party packages please contact Darragh and he will provide details on the nearby attractions such as the Burren National Park, Fr Ted's House or recommended accommodation providers.

The Farmyard is just 20 mins outside of Ennis or less than an hour from Galway.

"I heard of Causey Farm before but can't believe we had never heard of the Farmyard! Thanks for a brilliant time on the Hen last weekend. It was absolutely fantastic". Gwynne, May 2012.

"Just wanted to say thank you to both of you for such a brilliant day on Saturday and for letting us literally throw eggs at your walls! It really was so much fun and everyone really enjoyed it. Even a slap in the face with a pair of wet knickers couldn't have put a dampener on it! Keep up the good work". Martha and all her Hens, June 2012.
