5 Tasty Twists to Prosecco

I love nothing more than a glass of bubbly Prosecco with my girls. Even more so on a Hen Party weekend. What I love is to add something extra to my glass of prosecco. So, I thought I’d share my 5 Tasty Twists to Prosecco. All of which are perfect for on a Hen Party weekend.

Breakfast Prosecco

It’s not that often I would say prosecco and breakfast in the same sentence. But if you’re on a hen party weekend, I think we can make an exception. This twist to prosecco is a little more creative than the classic mimosa. The grapefruit breakfast prosecco is so yummy and goes down very well the morning of the Hen.

It’s so simple to make and you’ll be thanking me once you try. You need a chilled bottle of prosecco, 4 large grapefruits which have been chilled, and a bit of simple syrup. Juice the chilled grapefruit and add to the prosecco with a bit of syrup and enjoy. Dust the lip of the glass with sugar for that little bit extra.

Peach Sorbet Prosecco

I love this prosecco twist. It’s so tasty and I’m confident you’ll love it too. Pick up some peach sorbet on route to the Hen, and simply add it to your bubbly with a tiny bit of mint. It’s a delicious boozy sorbet that goes down very well before or after dinner.

Prosecco Ice Pops

If your hen party weekend is planned for the Summertime, this is a wonderful hen party treat. Think a berry Ice Pop combined with your favourite prosecco. These are a great option for any hen party that are opting for the self-catering accommodation option.

You’ll need prosecco, of course, Ice pop mould, mixed berries, apples, pomegranate or whatever you like really. Mix all the ingredients together and pop them into the freezer for 2-3 hours and you’ll have some tasty hen party treats in no time.

Ice Sticks

One of my go-to twists on prosecco is using Ice Sticks. You simply get your favourite berries or fruit. Stack 4 berries on a toothpick and freeze for 2 hours. When it’s time to enjoy a glass of bubbly prosecco with the girls. Just pop them into the glass with the prosecco. Yum!

Prosecco Punch

Now if you want to go the extra mile and really impress the Hen and everyone on the Hen Party weekend. Give this a try. You may need to make a big batch as it’s sooo good. Mix in a large jug, prosecco, peach schnapps, lemon juice, pom juice, mango soda water, rosemary, 1 fresh pomegranate, sugar and water.
This will go down a treat, trust me. It’s fab drink to toast the bride to be while you’re all getting ready for a big night out.

So there you have it ladies, my 5 Tasty Twists to Prosecco that I know you and your hens will love.
