So, you’ve got a Hen Party coming up and you’re not sure how to plan the perfect hen weekend. Well, the experts from HenParty.ie are here to help. There’s normally so much packed into a Hen Party, so it can be a nightmare to plan...

...But it doesn’t have to be. That’s why we’ve come up with a little guide to help you make sure you’re on the right track when it comes to the planning. So ladies, let’s get straight into it. Here’s our guide to planning a perfect hen party.

The Location

When you start planning a hen party, you’ll need to choose a location that’s ideal for your group. Choose somewhere that isn’t too far away to keep the cost down. With so many locations to choose from, you’ll find something to fill up your hen party itinerary nearby. Three key things to make sure the location has: food, drink and activities. If it has all three then you’re already onto a winner! At HenParty.ie we specialise in helping you plan an amazing hen night. Our location pages on our website have a full breakdown of the activity options, FAQs, and more. Whether that is a Galway Hen – Head out West for a night to remember, Limerick Hen – A vibrant and bustling university city packed with bars, or a Waterford Hen – Enjoy a warm welcome in the Deise. We have dedicated pages for most of the suitable hen towns & cities across the country, and even a few abroad if you have the passports at the ready girls!

Accommodation

When the antics of the hen night are over, you’re going to need a place to sleep it off. Many locations have hotels and apartments in the centre of the city or town. When planning a hen party, you don’t want to have to travel long distances after a night out, ladies. Trust us!

Group Size

Finding out the final numbers for the hen party can be a tricky one. From experience, we know that the number will constantly change, sometimes right up to the hen night. But if you get a rough number, to begin with, then you can start planning a hen party from there. Set up a WhatsApp or a Facebook group to find out how many of your girls are up for the Hen. A deposit can even secure their place.

Planning the Price of a Hen Party

This is one of the most important parts of planning a hen party. Not everyone can afford a flashy weekend away. Bear this in mind when you’re the hen weekend planner. We recommend finding a nice balance that’ll suit everyone.

How to Get There

Planning how to get to the location is a big step. Some locations can be a little awkward to get to. Because of this, we highly recommend that the hen weekend planner books either a private bus or looks into public transport. If you all travel together then, at least, you’ll all arrive together. Once you’re at the location then you’ll have no worries, and the party can get started!

Planning a Hen Party – Activities

While planning a hen party itinerary, we highly recommend doing an activity. There are so many fun activities you can choose from. They include things such as Cocktail-Making Classes, The Cube, CSI Save The Groom, Escape Rooms, etc. The activity can act as a nice ice breaker for the ladies on the Hen who might’ve never met before. They’ll quickly become acquainted.

What’s The Theme?

Planning a theme for the hen is optional but it can add a lot of fun. Deck the bars out with themed accessories, dress up in costumes and get into character for the night. You might even get the locals joining in on the fun.

So ladies, this is our guide to planning a hen party. Taking all of this into account will ensure that you have an incredible hen party and everyone has a great time. If you have any questions pop us an email on info@henparty.ie and we’ll be glad to help.
