How to Plan the Perfect Hen Party

In Hen Party Planning Tips 22 Nov 2019

Hen parties normally have a lot packed into a very short time and because of this, planning the hen party can be a nightmare. But it doesn’t have to be. Luckily we’re here to help!

The following is a guide on how to get everything just right for all involved and it’s a sure way to be positive that you’re not forgetting anything. Here’s how to plan the perfect hen party!

1. Location

Choosing the location is a great way to get the planning off to a start. Research and choose an area that has a lot to offer a hen party and make sure it’s got a lot of activities, food, and drink. Once it has those three things then you’re already off to a great start!

2. Transport

Next, you’ll want to tackle how to get to the location. Whether it’s a long or short journey it’s best to make sure everyone travels together and gets there at the same time. With public transport providing routes to all the big cities and towns, as well as the option to privately hire a bus, it might be no harm to price both and get a rough idea of how much it would cost per person.

3. Accommodation

After all the singing and dancing is over, the girls will need a place to hit the hay. Try to find somewhere that doesn’t involve a long late-night commute, and preferably cheaper rather than expensive. It’s all about balance!

4. Cost

One of the main things to keep in mind when planning the hen party is to consider everyone’s budget. Not everyone can afford a five-star hotel or to go all out when it comes to funds. Take everyone’s needs into consideration and try to stay within a nice price range.

5. Activity

This one is optional but we definitely recommend doing an activity. Whether it’s a cocktail-making class, drawing a Nude, or a competitive round of paintballing, including an activity for the hen party can be a great ice breaker for people meeting for the first time and can help to get everyone acquainted.

6. Theme

This is also optional but it can be a great way to keep the fun coming all night long. Getting everyone to dress up in costumes will bring a lot of laughter to the party. Whether it’s a 90s theme, guess the character, or policewomen, it’s a great way to bring extra fun.

7. Numbers

Finally, once you have a plan sorted it’s time to let everyone know the plan and see who’s coming. We recommend setting up a group on WhatsApp so that everyone can be in one spot for easier contact.

Taking everything into account will lead to a fantastic hen party and enjoyable, fun time for everyone.
