Some Hens aren’t into the whole partying side of things and want an active Hen Party where they have fun with the girls and do something to stay active at the same time. So here’s a list of our top 5 activities for an active hen party.
1. Adventure Centre
This one is for the more sporty Hens and can be great fun if it’s what you’re looking for. With most adventure centres offering activities such as kayaking, abseiling, rocking climbing, zip-lining and obstacle courses, it’s the perfect place to get a workout in while taking in some of the beautiful views Ireland has to offer and having some great fun with friends.
2. Hiking
Ireland has some great hiking trails around the country and all are completely free to take advantage of. Whether it’s hiking up a mountain or doing one of the many cliff walks along the coast of Ireland, you’ll be sure to get in some fresh air and get those steps up, all while enjoying some of the amazing views Ireland has to offer!
3.Archery Tag
Channel your inner Katniss Everdeen for this one as you’ll be eliminating your friends with a well placed shot. Think paintball with a bow and arrow. You’ll have some great fun with this one, and it’s perfectly safe. You’ll be shooting foam-tipped arrows and given face guards/helmets to ensure your safety at all times.
4.Karting
Battle for bragging rights as you race around a racetrack at speeds of up to 80kph while being an inch off the ground. You’ll be given a helmet and a safety briefing before you start so you’ll be perfectly safe. All you’ve got to do is keep the pedal to the ground, break early around corners and overtake your friends as you race ahead for the right to be called the Best Racer. You’ll have great fun during and after!
5. Paintballing
Perfect for getting in a full-body workout and being competitive at the same time. Get ready to give and take a few shots of coloured paintballs while you either defend or capture the flags. Get tactical and flank the other team to win the game. It’s also perfectly safe as you’re given a faceguard and off you go. But we can’t guarantee it’ll be painless...prepare for a few stinging shots.
