Are you organising a hen party? Why not consider a self-catering hen. A self-catering hen party doesn’t mean that it has to be held in your house and that it is the cheap option. A self-catering hen party gives you the freedom to do what you want, get up when you want, eat when you want, go to bed when you want.
There are self-catering options available all across Ireland. From simple apartments to luxury houses, there is a self-catering option that suits everyone. If you are doing the self-catering hen party on a budget then there are loads of self-catering villages out there. All the popular destinations have them! You could also look into booking out a small guesthouse or B&B for the whole group. A lot of them will still make you breckie in the mornings…sorted!
If you decide to go for something more upmarket there are a lot of options out there to rent out luxury houses/apartments for the weekend. Some of these even have Jacuzzi’s and a pool. The initial cost may seem quite expensive but once it is divided up amongst the group it can be really affordable.
A self-catering hen party gives you the opportunity to play any of the generic hen party games you can think of in a comfortable environment. Combine these with a few drinking games and some DIY cocktails. These will get everyone rearing for the night ahead.
So if you are looking for a hen party with a more relaxed feel and a fun atmosphere why not try a self-catering hen party. If you have a very large group you could try renting neighbouring houses or if your group is a small one is perfect.

We booked with henparty.ie back on 2019 but when Covid hit everything shut down!! We were finally able to go in March 2022 and any deposits and payments made were easily transferred which was great. Headed to Galway and we were booked in the imperial hotel…
