This week’s query comes in from Jesse, her sister will be 5 months pregnant by the date of the hen party and she doesn’t know what to do.
“Hi Claire, my name’s Jesse, my hen party is being planned for 2 months’ time. Last week my sister just announced that she is expecting her second baby, we all couldn’t be happier! After calming down after this amazing announcement we started to realise that she would be 5 months in by the time my hen party can around. We had planned on going to an adventure centre but I think that may be out of the question now. I need your help!“
Claire’s Advice
Hi Jesse, big congrats to you on the engagement and also to your sister on her big announcement! This is such a common speed bump that hen parties have to deal with, but one that is easily solved!There are so many activities out there that are perfect for a hen party as well as a pregnant woman. Some of the best hen party activities are held inside and don’t require any strain on the body.
Activities like paint a nude or a photoshoot are so much fun. Even cocktail making could be a great option for you, there are some AMAZING mocktails out there I’m sure your sister would love! If she is up for something that requires a little more movement, why not have a dance class?
It would be a good idea for your sister and the bridesmaids to sit down and talk about all the hen party options and find one that will not only suit your sister but the rest of the group too.
