Ask Claire; Stripper or Not?

This week’s query comes in from Stephanie who doesn’t know whether to get a stripper for the bride or not

“Hi Claire, I’ve nearly finished the planning process for my bestie Michelle’s hen, but there is one question that just keeps popping up between me and the rest of the bridesmaids, should we get a stripper or not?

Hi Stephanie, congrats on getting this far in the planning process, organising a hen is not easy! When most people think of a hen party they think of a hunky man stripping off for the bride to be’s last night as a single lady! Strippers, however, are not for everyone.

They’re a great way to either bring a really shy person out of their shell or embarrass them beyond repair. If the bride is outgoing and up for the craic though chances are she’ll be up for having a stripper for her hen do.

When organising a stripper you have to think if it is something you and the girls would just like or if the bride would like it too. Once you figure this out you’ll have your answer! If you do decide to go ahead with a stripper be sure to organise with the venue in advance there is nothing worse than booking the stripper and not having a confirmed place where he can perform ;)
