Planning a Hen Party is always an exciting time. What happens on the Hen Party weekend all comes down to the type of bride-to-be! So, we've put together 6 types of brides on a Hen Party weekend. Don’t worry ladies, you’re bound to get a little cranky, emotional and sometimes rude. But have you become the Bridezilla you swore not to become?
The world has many different types of brides but we want to know the best that describes you or your bride-to-be!

The Antsy Bride

Everything is going to go wrong! What if they don't come? What if it rains? What if it's not fun?
The Antsy Bride just expects the whole thing is going to be a disaster even though everything has been planned to the finest detail. There is always something that will cause worry and the lead up to Hen Party weekend will be spent thinking about things that could go wrong. But her mind will be put at ease when she finally goes on the hen and experiences one of our fantastic Hen Party weekends! We'll make sure she has an unforgettable time.

The Princess

Trust us when we say you will never have to tell a princess bride to be that it’s “her” Hen or "her" big day… she already knows.
The Princess bride has had this dream in her head since she was five years old. The Hen maybe a little later in life.

They crave attention and sometimes forgets the small details such as budgets. The Princess is most likely to plan the most extravagant and fantastic Hen Party and wedding, but sometimes others might not agree with the style.

The Anti-Bride and Anit-Hen

If you are expecting anything traditional about the wedding… then forget it!
This wedding will be unique and out of the box. The Anti Bride will do everything in her power to make sure she doesn’t have a wedding like the ones in the magazines or movies. Generally, these brides are most likely to elope and avoid the ‘Big Day’ (BTW she hates calling it that!)

When it comes to the Hen, however. Deep down they'll say they don't want one but when the cocktails start flowing and the music hits her she'll be the one leading the questionable dance moves on the dancefloor and drinking from willy straws!

The D.I.Y. Bride

Step aside everyone, the DIY bride has got it all under control!
This bride is determined if it can’t be made by her then it will be bought second hand. It sounds great and satisfying to be so hands-on, but just wait until you have to make 200 invites on your own!

When it comes to planning the Hen, she knows what she wants and will get in touch with HenParty.ie HQ and together have her own Hen Party planned exactly the way she wants it.

The Techy Bride

Let’s be honest, this bride will have the pictures of the Hen on Instagram and Facebook before the hangover even sets in Sunday morning and the rest of the girls realize what shenanigans they got up to last night. She's the type of girl that will have her wedding pics up online before she's even walked back down the aisle!

Before the big day even happens, the techy bride will have everything computerised, budgets on excel, everyone’s rota typed, printed and laminated. She will hound the guests to ‘check-in’ at the wedding and use a custom hashtag for the day! … #WedFest!

So, can we suggest a techy Hen Party activity or something that indulges her passion for taking selfies and posting pics? A Gin Tea Party with the girls perhaps?

The Bridezilla

Guess what, she wants it all and she wants it now!
Don’t get on her wrong side no matter if you’re the bridesmaid, mother, friend and certainly not the groom! Be aware, she is most likely to scream at any minute, can be demanding and if you don’t co-operate you can get an earful.
Strange thing is, she was once a sweet girl but that ring on the finger somehow changed it all!

So, when it comes to planning the Hen! Go all out, leave nothing to chance and let us the experts here in HenParty.ie look after everything!
