Whether it’s your first time or you’re a hen party veteran it’s handy to have a bit of guidance on the right way to do things on a Hen Party. That’s what we’re here for so let us give you some tips on how to give the Bride the Hen Party she always dreamed of!

1. Take plenty of photos!

The Bride will want to have plenty of memories of her Hen Party and taking a lot of selfies and candid photos can be the perfect way to achieve this. But be careful, taking candid photos means you could get someone at a bad angle and we all know how important angles are, so remember to stretch that arm out, put it up high and aim down. You know what we mean, ladies! Your gals will thank you for it later.

2. Pay for the Bride’s part.

A nice touch for a Hen Party is for everyone in attendance to put money together to pay for the Bride’s fees. The best way to do this is to split the price between everyone to make it as fair as possible. If it’s a large group then it shouldn’t be too much extra cost per person.

3. Take it easy on the drink.

It’s perfectly fine to have a few drinks but know your limit. Being able to remember the happenings of the night is always a plus and if it helps you to avoid a hangover, even better!

4. Look after each other!

When moving from place to place, try to keep an eye on everyone and make sure nobody gets left behind. Most hen parties travel to a new area and if someone gets left behind in a place they’ve never been before it can be a very stressful time and this can be avoided if you all stay on the lookout for each other. Mini groups form within every hen party so keep an eye on your own little group.

5. Be wary of everyone’s budget.

Not everyone can afford an expensive weekend away to a foreign country so be wary of this when booking the hen party. Some of the ladies might have kids or other financial responsibilities which can put them under pressure so if the bride wants them to be there then do everything you can to make sure that happens.

6. It’s the Bride’s time!

A final tip on Hen Party etiquette is to remember that it’s the Bride’s party and the spotlight should be on her. Make her feel fantastic and let her have the final say on what does or doesn’t happen. And also be respectful of her wishes.

Taking all of these tips into account can ensure that the Hen Party goes really well and will make sure everyone has a great time. That’s the goal, right? The main thing is to enjoy yourselves and show the Bride a great time for her final big night out with the gals.
