Yoga for a Hen Party

Not everyone wants the usual busy hen party that’s full of high energy activities and adrenaline. If your group sounds like the kind that wants to step away from all of that then Yoga is the thing for you!

Yoga is becoming a very popular activity on a hen party and it’s great for people of all ages. Yoga is a great way to leave the stress after a long week at work behind and relax and unwind with the girls while having a lot of laughs.

But what is Yoga? Well, Yoga helps with spiritual development by using meditation, breathing techniques and exercise with the goal of improving health and wellbeing.

So why is Yoga such a great activity for a hen party? Carry on reading because we’re about to tell you! Here’s Yoga for a Hen Party.

1. It’s relaxing

Yoga will help you to forget about your stress and your worries and will help you to become fully relaxed so that you and your girls can hit the town afterwards with clear heads and really enjoy the rest of the hen party! Yoga works by getting you into a state of meditation, focusing on your breathing while holding your body in a position that gets the muscles working, therefore getting the blood flowing and your heart rate will naturally decrease.

2. It’s a form of exercise

Let’s face it, nobody likes the thought of exercise but we do always feel great when it’s done! You and the girls can break a sweat while having a laugh together and you’ll feel great afterwards because of it.

3. A lot of fun

Yoga can be a lot of fun because it involves getting your body into a lot of different positions and holding those positions while you focus on your posture, breathing, etc. Holding some of those positions requires balance so get ready to fall over a lot!

4. Great for any sized groups and ages

Yoga is perfect for all groups, big or small. All ages too! Anyone can take part and enjoy what yoga has to offer with no experience required because the Yogi (teacher) will explain and demonstrate everything to you before and during the class.

5. Easy to find

Yoga classes can be found all over Ireland so no matter where you are, there’ll be a place nearby for you and your girls to try out.

At its core, Yoga is a way to become more in touch with yourself and your body and it teaches you good habits which you can then use yourself in the future. But on top of all of that, it’s a great way to try something new with your friends and family and might even become something you’ll do regularly.

Give Yoga a shot now by checking out our Hen Party Packages which include Yoga and let’s get your hen party into a peaceful state before you hit the town feeling rejuvenated with clear heads!
